"Antique Fan, Louis XVI Period, Gallant Scene"
Louis XVI period fan. Very beautiful ivory mount (with CITES certificate), pierced, painted and gilded. Several pairs of small Cupids in carved ivory are surrounded by a garland of flowers. The leaf is painted in gouache with a charming gallant scene. It measures 10,43 inches long, and 17,71 inches in diameter. Circa 1770.
