"Louis XVI Painted Chest Of Drawers"
Louis XVI chest of drawers from the late 18th / early 19th century. The four uprights have fluting, the front uprights being rounded. They are finished with spindle feet fitted with bronze sabots. The chest of drawers opens with five drawers on three rows, decorated with bronze pull handles and keyholes. A quarter-round molding separates the first row from the other two. The five locks are period and functional, fitted with a period key. It is topped with a Sainte Anne gray marble with ears, molded with a cavetto. The recesses are in oak. Chest of drawers re-lacquered in off-white and patinated. Dimensions: L 129 x D 61.5 x H 86
