Stanley : "moret Sur Loing 1924"

Stanley (20th century): "Moret sur Loing 1924", oil on canvas 50 X 65 cm, mounted in a gilded Regency-style frame 67 X 82 cm.
But who is this Stanley ?
If we find here and there, works representing Views of Paris or, as here Moret Sur Loing, a town loved by the Impressionists, we find no biographical notice !
From there to think that it could be a pseudonym of an artist under contract with a gallery and making a few "on the side"...
According to the maturity of the touch, he must have been born at the end of the 19th century and he gives us here a superb impressionist composition of the Moret seen from the other bank and punctuated by a fisherman on his boat, but whose real subject is the divided touch of the reflections on the water...
