"Napoleon III Buffet With Marble Marquetry "
Ebony sideboard/sideboard decorated with chiseled gilded bronzes and brass fillets. It has a white veined marble top, opens with a drawer and a door. The latter includes a magnificent medallion with inside a bouquet of flowers and fruits made entirely of marble marquetry. On this decoration there are three small insects represented: 2 butterflies and a bee. Good general condition but some small restorations are to be expected and some brass threads are missing.
