Marie-Thérèse Martin (Jurbise, 1923-Mons, 1979).
Belgian painter, designer, ceramist and decorator. Trained at the Mons Academy with Louis Buisseret, Léon Navez from 1938 to 1946. Trained as a ceramist in Nimy and Ratilly (France). Drawing teacher in Mons. Exhibited with the "Bon Vouloir" Circle in Mons from 1948.
Moved closer to expressionism then evolved towards abstraction.
