"Laurent De Medici Bronze And Marble Inkwell"
Bronze and black marble writing desk in the Renaissance style In the center a sculpture of Lorenzo de Medici, model sculpted by Michelangelo around 1530 in Florence; signé Rhon Sauvage Two cups decorated with acanthus leaves and gadroons. Black marble base with a pen holder carved into the mass. The whole rests on four claw feet with foliage motifs. Period late 19th century. Very good condition.
