Large Longwy enamel dish representing two pink flamingos This limited edition dish is the 13th in a series of 75. It was created by Rolande Rizzi born in Longwy in 1927 who followed the courses of MP Chevallier. R. Rizzi was inspired by the Japanese tradition to decorate large round dishes with bird motifs. She left the earthenware factory in 1949. This dish was enhanced by Justin Masson (1882-1959) it bears a stamp created at the beginning of the 20th century and abandoned in 1948 This stamp has an elaborate graphic design where ten Lorraine crosses are placed on either side of the traditional d'Huart coat of arms. A slightly rolled up banner bears the mark "Emaux de France" and the words "decorated by hand" as well as France This dish is in perfect condition.
