Beautiful Art & Craft, Silver Plated Bronze, Victorian Period, 19th Century Compartment Box

Superb box, rectangular format, heavy and elegant, in silver-plated bronze. The lid, hinged, with a beveled edge, is decorated in the center with a hollow level. The interior reveals a box with a bronze or brass handle, composed of 4 sliding compartments, resting on an internal edge, allowing other objects to be stored underneath. Beautiful quality, mounted with screws and rivets, hallmark clearly visible under the base.
Excellent condition, note all the same some shocks under the base, and wear to the silvering, clearly visible on my detailed photos, thank you for looking at them carefully, I hide nothing!
European working, probably English, dating from the middle of the Victorian period, very early Art & Craft movement.
