Solid fusiform belt hook from thick brass, enriched with shell in strong relief, on sided baluster , which holds the axis of  bulb-shaped shackle, opening with a rod with its beautiful screw thread. A final ring allows you to hang a chain or other... 
Late 17th century or early 18th century
