Large OIL JUG in dark green enameled earthenware, baluster-shaped with a narrow neck and wide, very flared throat. It is decorated with vertical grooves and fitted with a molded flat handle.
Height: 31.7 cm.
MOROCCO (MEKNES?), 19th century.

The throat and handle are (very well) glued back together. Oily concretions
Piece brought back in 1954 by a diplomat stationed in Senegal and Morocco.
