"Invoice Bookbinder-gilder Avignon 1889"
[BIBLIOPHILIA. AVIGNON]. Invoice from the Avignon bookbinder-gilder Charles Jean Assaleix (1850-1927), addressed to Mr. Valentin, architect. Avignon, March 13, 1889. 1 oblong octavo leaf, engraved on the recto only and partially completed by hand, illustrated with a historiated header. The recipient of the invoice is probably André Louis Valentin (1845), who was chief architect of the Vaucluse department, then ordinary architect of historic monuments.
