"Biedermeier Walnut Feather Trumeau "
Biedermeier walnut feather trumeau with clock, Denmark, 1820. The trumeau is made up of two main sections: lower and upper part.
The lower part consists of a series of drawers, which are adorned with brass handles and locks. The top of the trumeau is designed to open and reveal a writing desk, expanding the depth of the cabinet from 65cm to 90cm. The interior is divided into small drawers and shelves. Finally, in the highest part of the cabinet there is a built-in clock, typical of the Biedermeier design, and temple architecture on the cymatium.
