Pewter "stegkanne" Ewer - Circa 1800

Pewter EWER called "Stegkanne" in baluster form with a long spout with a flap connected to the neck by a molded arm, lid topped with a man's head and curved thumb. It is decorated with fine and beautiful engraving of coats of arms accompanied by a plumed helmet.
Hallmark of Kaspar STADLIN active from 1786: unicorn / bear / STADLIN.
Height: 32.7 cm.
BERNE, circa 1800

Very good condition,
This model with a long tubular spout was born in the Netherlands in the 15th century.
