KABUTO in wrought iron with twenty-four plates. THEHEN NO ANA (opening at the top) in gilded copper with three degrees. SHIKORO (neck cover) with four degrees in black lacquered iron and white and plum silk braiding. FUKIGAYESHI (the side fins) and MABI SA SHI (the visor) in wrought iron covered in deer leather stamped with decoration of chrysanthemums and stylized shishis. MAEDATE representing a golden disk. Half-mask of samurai called MEMPO in black lacquered iron. Pronounced chin, mobile nose, pierced nostrils, red lacquered interior. Gorget with four degrees in black lacquered iron and white and plum silk. SODE (shoulder guards) with six degrees in lacquered metal and white and plum silk. Breastplate with seven lamellae of black lacquered iron and white silk braiding. Arm guards, kote, in chainmail and iron plates. Skirt, kusazuri, and thigh guards, haidate, with five rows in black lacquered metal and white silk. Leggings, suneate, in iron plates, chainmail and white silk. Good general condition, slight traces of oxidation. Additional photos and details on request. Sold with its transport boxes, gusoku bitsu, and its presentation stand. Dimensions of the armor in a seated position: 140 x 53 x 48 cm. Dimensions of its storage box: 53 x 38 x 38 cm.
