Japanese Katana sword, the blade mounted in shirasaya, signed Bishu Osafune Kiyomitsu Saku Kore Eiroku and dated August 1558. Tsuka braided in purple silk on white shagreen. Menukis depicting buffaloes. Tsuba marugata in openwork iron, engraved and partially gilded depicting chrysanthemums (unsigned). Fushi and kashira with a pattern of foaming waves, the fushi signed. Kozuka depicting a man armed with a straight sword facing a dragon emerging from the waves, on a nanako background. Kogai decorated with a rider crossing a bridge, on a nanako background. Saya in lacquer and mother-of-pearl. Straight blade, regular, straight and marked hamon. Dimensions: 99 x 7.5 x 7.5 cm. Blade length: 68.2 cm. Sold with the support and its silk case for transport. A certificate guaranteeing its authenticity is delivered with the sword.
