"18th Century Alsatian Wardrobe"
Strasbourg wardrobe from the early 18th century in blond walnut which has come down to us in a beautiful state of preservation. Strongly curved and molded, it rests on a base with five ball feet enclosed in claws. With all its bottoms and its shelf in oak, it is built in two parts connected in the center by two wooden keys. It opens with two doors with three panels, has its beautiful lock and its cremone bolt in wrought iron and bronze finely chiseled and decorated with a dolphin. Topped with a very rich cornice with a double gendarme's hat with on its pediment a marquis' crown with the numbers of a great family
