Bronze hand with brown patina, lost wax casting produced by the famous Parisian foundry "Montagutelli frères" bears the oval stamp of the foundry "Montagutelli Frères Paris Cire Perdue" the signature "Laborie" appears on the back Montagutelli Frères was famous at the time for being one of the few Parisian foundries capable of producing bronze castings using the demanding technique of lost wax casting... they worked for the Villa Medici in Italy and also for Rodin.
