"Zodiac Ritual Calendar, Tibet."
Ritual calendar in embossed copper grouping the twelve signs of the zodiac, the eight trigrams and in the center the nine Mewas, in the upper part, Chenrezi, Vajrapani and Manjushri as well as the Kalachakra. An inscription is engraved in the lower part. Tibet, early 20th century Good condition, rare and tiny points of oxidation in verdigris (barely visible to the naked eye, accentuated by the flash) Provenance: Estate of the dealer and collector of Southeast Asian art Claude de Marteau. 27.5 cm X 31 CM
