"Painting Charles Mozin (1806-1862) Norman Landscape"
The artist discovered Normandy and Trouville with his teacher Xavier Leprince around 1825, he settled there in 1839. He participated in the development of the city through his action within the municipal council in 1843. Present in museums and large Norman collections, it is rare today to find a painting that is not inventoried. This type of mill was present all along the coasts of the Atlantic and the North Sea. On the horizon we can see a marine expanse and bell towers which are clues to more precisely locate this luminous landscape. Signed at the bottom right in the barrier.
