"Small 'work Table', Restoration Period, In Solid Mahogany."
This model was used to place the "work" inside the 'basin' formed by the top. Balls of wool, knitting and sewing tools were stored in the two other 'cabaret' shelves as well as in the two-way opening drawer. It rests on four long 'sheath' feet with rounded corners. Its very small dimensions (37x24 at the base) make it a rare 'piece of furniture', among the smallest 'workbenches'. Charming model in very good original condition, from the Louis XVIII period.
