Small octagonal sewing set in forged and polished steel resting on four ball feet, each side decorated with garlands of pewter and copper flowers, gilded in appliqué. The case opens at the front into a drawer with a movable handle, centred with an inscription in Cyrillic characters, and is topped by a red velvet cushion forming the needle pick.
It is held in place by a vice, with the screw socket drilled in a circular pattern.
