This 12" Bebe Tout Bois dates from the turn of the XX century. It has a carved wood head with stationary brown eyes, closed mouth, frail blonde mohair wig, carved jointed wood body with stationary wrists, original finish in good played with condition. The hand sewn outfit represents a priest wearing liturgical pieces of attire including black wool robe and pants, lace apron and chasuble, black velvet head-piece, antique black leather shoes.
The wooden cathedra is well carved, in gothic style. The seat hides a chest.
