*Pierre Signoret (1898-1995) of Provençal and Parisian origin, he came to the peninsula in the 1920s for professional reasons and met Elisabeth GOUZERH, one of the daughters of the village baker, Laurent GOUZERH.
They married and settled in Paris but spent every summer in Kerhostin, first at the "Pen-Ty" then at the "Skéro", the house of Duval-Gozlan, which they acquired in the 1940s.
In love with Brittany, he painted many landscapes and views of Kerhostin.
