Remains of gilding with ground gold, marking with ricasso and disappearing under the ear on one side "Manufacture royale du Klingenthal Coulaux Frères" and on the other side also disappearing under the ear in shuttle "DUC fourbisseur rue Saint Honoré opposite that richelieu number 281 in Paris.
