Polychrome and gold wooden stand illustrating a standing Nubian, in an attitude ''a contrapposto'', on a stylized half gondola floating on the waves. The raised right arm supports a red and gold tablecloth tray.
He is dressed in a suit and boots with a yellow background and beautifully colored patterns of scrolls and stripes.
The whole rests on an octagonal base with four ''lion's paw'' feet, decorated with a mascaron on the front.
