Charming relaxation cabinet, cabinetmaker's work in scale model, Louis XV style.

This little masterpiece made in the 18th century, respecting the manufacturing techniques, the curved facade as well as the feet and the gendarme hat cornice are typical of the period, all in Walnut with ash sides,

This reduction also presents on the doors ("exceptional" carved in the mass "known as Monoxyl") hinges and a keyhole in wrought iron from the period, all demonstrating the artisanal knowledge of the 18th century and giving this small piece elegance and authenticity.

The proportions are balanced. (note that part of the cornice has been redone, certainly due to a fall or any other accident, very old restoration already weathered by time).

This charming little piece of furniture was also originally used as a working model, exhibited to the customer before being made to full size.
