"Late 18th Century Brass Foot Warmer "
Stunning foot warmer in hand-hammered brass sheet, characterized by a detailed depiction of woodland scenes featuring putti. The putti are engaged in gathering firewood, warming themselves by the fire, and participating in hunting, offering an extraordinarily realistic interpretation. The piece is marked with the inscription “A. Arens,” likely the artisan who worked the brass sheet, allowing it to be attributed to the French area and to the late 18th century. Over time, the warmer has been adapted as a flower holder by inserting a waterproof tinned iron lining inside. This is a work of art that can enhance any environment with elegance and taste.
