Large Art Deco bronze by Henri Louis Bouchard. Young girl dressed and  gazelle or Bagatelle fountain. Model presented at the 1912 Salon. Bronze with green patina signed H Bouchard and foundry stamp Cire Perdue Siot. Joined the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris in the studio of Louis-Ernest Barrias from 1895 to 1901. Won the Grand Prix de Rome in 1901. Resident at the Villa Medici from 1902 to 1906. Professor at the Académie Julian from 1910 to 1917. Participated in the International Exhibition of Decorative Arts in 1925. Professor at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs from 1928 to 1929. Professor at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris from 1929 to 1945. Elected member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Antwerp in 1930. Member of the Academy of Fine Arts of Paris in 1933. Member of the Royal Academy of Brussels in 1939. President of the Salon des Artistes Français from 1940 to 1945.Remained in the same family by descent since its acquisition from the artist .
