"Aryballe Vase - Raised Handle - Corinthian Work - Ancient Greece - Archaeology"
Rare antique aryballos vase with a very raised handle. Small in size, with a very wide belly, it is decorated with a red and black slip on the belly, and with streaked patterns at the base of the neck. Corinthian work from the 1st quarter of the 6th century BC. 7.2cm high, 5cm at the base. Model equivalent to the Louvre under inventory number AM 1574. Provenance: same Tarn collection (south of France) as the other archaeological pieces that we have presented for sale in recent weeks.
