A jump chest of drawers with a projection in satinwood, amaranth, rosewood and rosewood marquetry, decorated on the front and sides with Chinese lacquer panels decorated with landscapes with pagodas animated by Chinese characters as well as birds (sides), opening with two drawers, Aleppo breccia marble top, curved feet, from the 18th century Transition period. This chest of drawers is in good general condition and is of remarkable quality. These chests of drawers decorated with panels in the Chinese style were particularly fashionable at that time and followed the attraction for 18th century chinoiserie.
