Very rare striking watch by Arl Bobson in London, circa 1740.
Enamel dial with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes, Louis XV hands in gilded Laiton.
Superb movement in gilded brass, with verge escapement, chain, fusee, and striking of the hours and quarters on a bell by pressure on the bail.
Also possible with tactile striking, thanks to a nipple located at 6:30.
Dust cover in gilded brass
Case in gilded brass, with double bottom which can give access to the winding.
