"Large Silver Ciborium - 19th Century"

The inside of the cup and the lid is vermeil. Our chalice is decorated on its central knot with four enamelled Greek crosses on a blue background, as for its lid it is decorated with the Evangelists whose names are engraved on phylacteries.
The whole is surmounted by a fine cross. A work of an English-speaking master goldsmith.
Presence of a silver hallmark 825. Weight of 981 grams - dimensions of 41 cm - base of 16 cm in diameter.
No lack but oxidation
