"Louis XVI Period Mahogany Bedside Table."
18th century bedside table, also called chiffonnière table, in mahogany and mahogany veneer. Opening with two drawers with flat bottoms, one of which is double. Two locks in working order and a key. Original marble top, surrounded by an openwork bronze gallery. The four round sheathed legs are joined by a mahogany shelf. Gilded bronze trim for the lock entries and the sabots. Small stains and a crack on the marble, reinforcements at the edge of the shelf are the testimony and the charm of this pretty little old table.
