Quality work from the 18th century carved in oak, several layers of paint are present.
Piece having suffered heavily from the ravages of xylophages.
Has been cleaned, brushed, treated and then received injections of hardener to regain a solidity almost comparable to that of the original.
Presented on a patinated oak base, a layer of suitable varnish freezes this wonderful patina for decades.
The whole required many hours of work, for a very poetic result.
