Lost wax bronze, signed, representing the horse Pegasus taking flight from a pink granite rock. The sculptor favored a rendering of the raw material, and both the bronze and the granite seem to come out of the fingers that modeled them. The horse is strong, concentrated with energy and powerful musculature. Its attitude is majestic as befits the fabulous animal that the Gods created.
