- A slightly truncated cone-shaped beaker engraved with a mausoleum with trophy. On a stall bearing the panegyric concerning General Laudon, supports an antique urn on which is leaning an angel of fame with horns and coat of arms. The whole is surmounted by a column bearing the Empress Maria Theresa portrait with palms and crowned of stars. The monument is framed by the arms and flags taken from the Turkish enemy. On the stall the inscription: "WELCH EINEN HELDEN SCHLIST WOHL DIESE URNE EIN! WENN OESTEREICH WEINT SOMUS ES LAUDON SEIN“ (What a hero is in this urn! When Austria weeps, it must be for Laudon)
- Ernst Gideon Freiherr von Laudon, born in 1717 in Livonia and died in 1790 in Moravia during a final campaign, was a field marshal in the service of the Habsburg monarchy. He was one of the most skilled men of war in the Empire during the 18th century.
