"Marquetry Worker Called "à La Reine" Wood And Mother-of-pearl On All Sides 19th Century"
Beautiful Napoleon III period workbench in rosewood and palisander marquetry, amboyna burl and mother-of-pearl inlays, in geometric patterns on the top and the four curved sides of the piece of furniture. This workbench rests on four curved legs, decorated with bronze which are outlined up to the hooves. The top surrounded by a chiseled bronze ingot mold lifts up and reveals a mirror surrounded by brass. The drawer comes forward and reveals three compartments with six lockers. The bottom is in mahogany. This very decorative piece of furniture is in perfect condition.
