Dish Religious Plate - Pewter Paten From Nuremberg - XVII Th

Charming pewter patène, Nuremberg model (sometimes attributed to Paulus Oham).

This piece is distinguished by its finely molded decoration in relief, featuring in the center a medallion representing Noah's thanksgiving, accompanied by the legend in German: "Noe geing aus - der arch getr ost - opferdt 16 gott 19" .

The border features a motif alternating between scenes of the creation and fall of Adam and Eve, as well as flower vases, typical of works of this period. 

- Diameter: 17.7 cm - Weight: 135 g 
 
- Condition: Note on the back some cracks around the central border (consolidated) and marks and welds on the border.

- Description: highlighting both the history of the object, its technical characteristics and the current condition.

This paten constitutes a beautiful collector's item for lovers of historical and religious objects of Nuremberg pewter crafts.
