Watercolor on paper depicting a very sweet 'mother with child' made by Lodovico Zambeletti (Milan, 1881-Milan, 1966) namesake grandson of the founder of the well-known pharmaceutical company Zambeletti. The painter was a student of Cesare Tallone in Brera, after the post-impressionist beginnings he developed a more structurally solid painting. Landscape painter, genre figure and portraitist. Italy, early 1900s. Contemporary frame, gilded with gold leaf.
Condition: very good, signs and wear are due to use and time.
