Double-body glass bookcase in mahogany and mahogany veneer, English manufacture from the second half of the 19th century. Our piece of furniture is composed of a lower part opening with two leaves and revealing a shelf forming two levels of storage. The upper part is glazed, the glass is original and pleasantly irregular. The interior of this part forming a display case is lined with a cream-colored fabric. Two shelves are also present. Large drawer in the belt. This bookcase is in good condition, it obviously has traces of use and wear that are quite classic and usual on this type of furniture (traces on the shelves of the lower part, small scattered veneer chips, etc. see photos). Furniture sold with two keys, the locks work (original bottom lock, rear top lock).
