This rare beautiful piece in the colors of Provence from the middle of the 18th century is a table fountain in earthenware enameled with different straw yellow, green and brown nances. A delightful and large table fountain with a pretty glaze, is representative of the extraordinary Provencal productions which in the 18th century were born from this pottery village in the Drome which supplied the whole of Europe, a forgotten know-how for these pretty everyday and very decorative pieces; I knew the last factory which unfortunately in this world where pottery has become obsolete had to close its doors and become the local Museum of this famous village of Potters "Cliousclat" in the Drome this piece with its beautiful clasp hat decorated with a large ball, rests on a piece which forms the body of the fountain with two very elegant "moustached" handles (large commas starting from the base and running on the pot-bellied body, resting on a pedestal, of a majesty specific to Louis XV this table fountain is powerful and has allure by its proportions and the quality of the enamel applied on a beautiful set of three-color shades, the spout with a chimera head is very expressive and very balanced like all this piece in good condition of use (some lack of enamel which does not harm its decorative aspect, where the lived has its place) Decorative as desired and in good original condition (no cracks), a curiosity and a collector's item
