Very old case for musical instrument (clarinet, oboe, flute or other...).
Probably dates from the early 19th century, or even the late 18th century.
Light wood case (poplar?) painted black, with fine ornamental gilding on the domed lid.
Two small brass locks to turn to open/close.
The interior is covered with protective padding.
