"Studded Box Dated 1761"
Box covered with vellum paper and nails on a core of softwood, there is a hasp lock on the front and on the lid, an ornamentation representing a cherub figurine surrounded by two flowers, all in brass. Presence of green velvet on the front and on the lid. On the back of the box, the date 1761 appears, made from small round-headed nails. France, 18th century.
