"An Ivory Okimono Depicting A Family Scene, Signed Norikazu"
Ivory okimono, carved from a single block, depicting a delicate family scene with a mother and her two children. The mother holds her youngest child in her arms, who happily clutches a horse-shaped puppet. Next to them, the eldest daughter approaches gently, offering her mother a basket full of fruit.Signature “Norikazu” engraved under the base.
Period: Meiji late 19th century.
Dimensions: 13.5 x 8.5 x 5 cm.
Condition: Excellent general condition. There is a professional restoration on the left hand of the child in her arms.
