Vermeil And Crystal Travel Kit Signed Gustave Keller

Very beautiful rectangular compartmentalized box in green leather opening with a hinged lid with, inside, a monogrammed "MJ" toiletry set composed of eight cylindrical crystal bottles in three different sizes, decorated with rudentée flutes with vermeil stoppers chiseled with garlands of flowers decorated with ribbons and rods ribboned with crossbars. The box includes: 4 perfume bottles of different sizes, 2 small pots and 2 large pots Master goldsmith Gustave Keller. One crack in two of the bottles.

The Keller house was founded in 1857 and received numerous medals at the universal exhibitions of the second half of the 19th century. This house was first specialized in the creation and manufacture of toiletry kits, around 1889, the house began to create goldsmith objects. Many personalities of the European courts were sponsors of this famous house. Today, many of Gustave Keller's works are presented in French collections such as the Musée du Petit Palais
