"China, 18th Century, Period Of The Reign Of Emperor Qianlong (1736-1795), Porcelain Plate"
China, 18th century, period of the reign of Emperor Qianlong (1736-1795), circa 1760, very beautiful and rare porcelain plate, intended for the English market, decorated in famille rose enamels with the coat of arms of Machel and Holloway. Chain motifs on the rim; flower and parrot throws on the wing. It was acquired for 650 euros in 2002 by the previous owner from an antique dealer who specialized in Chinese porcelain at the time. Dimensions: 22 cm on each side. The scale indicator in the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a well-known brand. Condition: old restoration carried out by a professional craftsman. The result is incredible, almost invisible. The plate has been broken in two, almost in half. The photographs taken from the side make it difficult to distinguish this accident, almost imperceptible when one is not aware of it beforehand.
