Very large and elegant chryselephantine sculpture of a woman walking with her greyhounds, signed by Menneville and Rochard (Ugo Cipriani and Irenée Rochard). The young lady was modeled by Cipriani and the greyhounds by Irénée Rochard. This group rests on a black marble and onyx base, enhancing the graceful young woman with a delicate ivory face, a flowery dress, and her two golden dogs. The figure presents a light and dynamic posture. Irénée Rochard (1906-1984) is a French animal sculptor known for his very realistic works and recognized for his numerous awards and prizes.
