"Louis XV Screen Table"
This is a Louis XV period screen table, curved on 3 sides. Made of violet wood, maple and marquetry of flowers, it is elegant and refined. Its top is made of griotte marble inlaid with a semi-precious stone fillet and molded with a corbin beak. It has been restored. It opens on the front with a drawer, and on the right side with a second which reveals an inkwell. Its screen at the back rises to reveal an elegant toile de jouy with Asian decorations, which protected the candle from drafts. L 44.5 cm H 73.5 cm D 34 cm
