Very beautiful Fauvist landscape by Victor PROUVE (1858-1943). This is an Oil on panel measuring 39 x 46 cm, located on the back, dated "7 sept 2(8?) afternoon", with the number 16 and the artist's initials. Also, the handwritten mention "varnished with zapon (?)". This is a rather astonishing Fauvist work by this master of the Nancy School, coming from the artist's descendants.
