Large copper JUG in the shape of a baluster with a depressed base, an oblique plinth foot, a truncated cone neck and a domed lid decorated with radiating moldings. It has a tubular spillway connected to the neck by a support bracket, a fixed nose and a swinging spout.
Height: 41 cm.
SOUTH OF FRANCE or ITALY, late 17th century.

Good condition, the winding on the iron stiffener of the base is however damaged (see the corresponding photo)
With regard to copperware, it should be remembered that its productions are not melted but obtained individually by successive shrinking and annealing. Each object is therefore unique.
